Tally Companion for Chrome

Tally Companion is a browser extension that manages the audio of your Twitch tabs: one stream has sound, every channel keeps its volume. It works on its own or together with Tally.

What the extension reads

Only on twitch.tv: which channel a tab shows, whether it is live, playing or muted, the player volume, and the channel's name, picture and category as shown on the page. The extension runs on no other website.

Stored in your browser

Your settings, pinned streams, the last closed channels, the volume per channel, and names and links to the pictures of channels you watched. Uninstalling the extension removes everything. Channel pictures in the popup load from Twitch's image server (static-cdn.jtvnw.net), as they do on twitch.tv.

Connection to Tally

If Tally is running on your computer, the extension exchanges the open Twitch channels, their state (listening, muted, volume) and your pinned channels with Tally at 127.0.0.1, which is your own computer. Nothing is sent anywhere else.

What the extension doesn't do

No account, no tracking, no analytics, no remote code. No data is sold, shared or transferred to third parties. The Chrome Web Store shows us only anonymous install numbers; Google's privacy policy applies to the store itself.

Your rights

Tally Companion is an independent project and not affiliated with Twitch or Elgato. See also: Tally privacy.

Was die Erweiterung liest

In deinem Browser gespeichert

Kein Konto, kein Tracking, keine Analyse, kein nachgeladener Code.
